Resizing your Image files

We require your images to fit within our size requirements, so that we have a consistent image quality across the website, social media and printed media. We cannot guarantee that your image displays in full or loads quickly without glitches otherwise! Please ensure your image files are saved at:

A file size of no more than 1MB, with a resolution of 300dpi (maybe shown as 300 pixels/inch).

To resize:

  • Apple - open image in Preview - select Tools - select Adjust size = Image Dimensions - enter 924 pixels as the longest dimension

  • Windows - in File Explorer, right-click the image you want to resize - select Open With - select Paint from the dropdown list - in the top menu bar, select the Resize option

  • Photoshop - open image - select Image - select Image Size - enter 924 pixels as the longest dimension. Note that resolution is a separate box.

  • Android - open image from Gallery - select Edit tool - select 3 dots at top of page - select Resize - select 924 pixels as the longest dimension

  • Photoshop alternatives: Adobe Express or Canva are good on your phone (select Photo tab, then select resize for Insta). Best options however, are to use PixlR or Photopea - they’re web-based software, so no download needed. Use PixlR Editor and follow Photoshop directions - enter 924 pixels as the longest dimension.
